I would imagine this is the first time a CGIAR Center has released a song, an auto-tuned song, featuring the late Norman Borlaug, who is often referred to as the ‘father of the green revolution’. I would also put money down to say this is the first time agriculture science has been auto-tuned. (If you have another example, please share with us in the comments below!)
Thinking ‘outside-the-field’ to release Play it Hard, CIMMYT (International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center) is celebrating 100 years of Dr. Norman Borlaug, and his contribution to global food security.
I think this is the kind of creative and innovative digital marketing that agriculture and science research organisations need to exhibit in the noisy online environment. Hats off to you, they say, “We are bringing spirit of Dr. Borlaug to younger generations :)”. And so you are, well done!
